Santa Sangre (1989)
I like to call this movie “two hours of Madness by Alejandro Jodorowsky.” It’s the story of a young boy who grows up in the circus - and of his battle with insanity after witnessing the death of his father. The visuals are an excellent companion to the unusual storyline. One does not outshine the other; they work in a symbiosis that seems as natural as butter on toast.
Written and directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky (of The Holy Mountain fame).

I made this for my Russian friend when we were at an amusement park together several years ago. it’s a napkin wrapper, written in liquid eyeliner. he now lives as a monk in Southern Russia.

I was on tour in a beautiful forest city, until I fell into a hole in the ground filled with guts and bile. then I realized I was sleeping, phoned myself who was in another dream, woke up, and had sleep paralysis.
